Hello. I wanted to share a little about me to elaborate on my first introduction post. I recently joined this site and am glad to have found it. It seems like a good place with a lot of caring people. I am in recovery after spending half my life using and self-harming. I'm 26 and for the first time in my life I am experiencing some peace. Glad you are here Jackie. I continue to use SR in my recovery and it really made the difference in my journey.

Welcome to SR disenchanted. You are right about there being a lot of caring people here, a lot of people that can relate to you. My background is somewhat similar to yours, except for the fact that I'm a dude. I'm 28 and I spent half of my life in addiction to alcohol and weed. I love this forum, lots of love and knowledge on here. Welcome and I'm sure I speak for all of us here at SR when I say, we look forward to getting to know you.

Hi disenchanted. I'm also 26 and don't remember ever having peace in my life. Without SR I honestly don't know if I would have made it this far in my sobriety.
