Question About Revoking Bail

Thanks for responding to my previous post about revoking my son's bail. It is a very high cash bail. I was told that he has to come into court with me to do that. That will never happen! Is that true or will the judge issue a warrant? He has unsupervised probation. Please... any info you can give me.

Law on this vary from state to state. Where I live (Ontario, Canada), revoked bail means they return to jail until they can make other arrangements or their trial comes up. If they don't willingly surrender to jail, a warrant is issued.

Maybe call your local courthouse and they can tell you how it works there.

Hugs

Call your bail bondsman. He should be very familiar with this process.
