recomitting after relapse

Hi guys. I'm just here to state that I had a short relapse but I am recommiting today and doing fine!

I was recently released from prison and had 6 months clean time in there, but when I got home I used. I'm disappointed in myself but I am going to meetings 3x a week and reading the blue book and working my program again.

It works if you work it!!

Congratulations on getting back on track, that's wonderful! Hang in there and make sure you get your daily recommended doses of AA and SR.

I think you have a better chance of making it when you are doing it for you and not because of incarceration. Good for you! Stick around and keep us posted.

That's great! I'm in a very similar boat right now too. I think putting your feet forward is all you need after a relapse.

Thanks for coming back! Sorry to hear about your jail time, but with that sobriety under your belt, you have a track record to prove you can do it. You made it 6 months before, so there's absolutely no reason you can't get through tonight (or any night) without a drink.
