.. To my first meeting. I was freaking out super nervous and pulled up and almost didnt go in but then was like well Im already here I might as well check it out. So I did and was still kinda nervous and stuff and just listened to other peoples stories. Some I could relate too. Its still kinda akward for me. I think if I try a couple more different ones maybe I will like it. Todays day 3 and I really want to stay sober this time and I know I cant just do it alone by myself bc that had failed in the past.

I felt like that at my first meeting too. And my second, third, and probably fourth. But now going to a meeting is honestly one of my favorite things to do. It will get better. And it will help.

Good for you! I think for most people it's a bit of "culture shock" when they go to their first meeting. Soon it will be comfortable, and comforting.

Congrats girl on the 3 days and your first meeting! I know I felt like that my first time too. My counselor had told me to continue to look around ,since every meeting is different and also has a mixture of personalities. She said once I started exploring, I'd find ones I'd like .
