OT: Dear Friends, please pray for my daughter

My 16 y.o. is bi-polar just like her brother and father. It's kicking her hard right now and she is having obsessive suicidal thoughts and is very depressed. I almost sent for an ambulance because she refused to go to the hospital. I thought to call her boyfriend and he has her calmed down--they are talking downstairs now. I'll be calling her psych in the morning and I'll probably be up all night.

Please, please pray for us. I've never been so frightened in my life.

Thanks everyone....so, so much.

Doctor wanted to hospitalize her but we assured her she would not be alone until this episode is over. She switched her meds and doctor expects she will be better in 3-5 days. I feel much better but I don't ever want to go through that again. My poor baby.

I have a pounding headache but I did not drink throughout this ordeal. I'm on Day 13 of my fledgling sobriety....that alone is a miracle.
