I have 30 days!
This time last year I made it 33 days sober and then fell apart. I had family come into town over the thanksgiving holiday and I allowed myself to believe that I could drink with them and then just start over.

Well it took me the whole year of heavy drinking to get back to this place again.


I decided this time that if I really wanted sobriety i had to WORK for it. i needed to do it differently.

So, Today I have 30 days and I have a new plan of action and I am kinda proud of me

WTG, Carrie! Congrats on your first month!

You know now that a relapse IS a big deal--you don't need another, and who knows whether or when you would make it back from another?

Well done Carrie!! I found that doing it differently and working at it made a difference. As I moved along after my relapse I discovered a new found strength and I really got what it meant to be in recovery.
