8 days sober
Hi everyone, I am a long time reader but first time writer!! I just wanted you to know that I dont know how I would get through the last 8 long evenings sober while my husband is on nights and my beautiful kids sleep without this site. The positivity that is passed on is really fantastic and helps me every day. I even discovered that I can log on in work which is so unusual as every site is blocked. I feel really great now after a few very shaky moments last week. I promise to share more but I am pressed for time but just wanted to say THANKS....even for the few moments I read other peoples honest stories I feel part of something and so supported

I too have a husband on nights and I have kept SR as an invaluable tool in my recovery. Kept me going in the early days and has continued to support me and inspire me to continue making positive change.

Welcome moomoos and congratulations on getting 8 days sober - that's a great start! I love this place, too -- I can come here anytime I need to and it's a wonderful place to begin or end the day, with a reminder that I have a chance at a new life without alcohol.
