day 40

Today is day 40 for me. i am so thankful to be here, to read, to learn.

Today my sis in law's bf asked me if I had any wine. I said, "Well, I don't drink anymore."

WHAT?

Her bf looked at me like I had just said that we were eating chicken feet for breakfast. He looked at my sis in law and said, "you better never get that way."

Well, I am proud to be "that way." I hope tomorrow that I can write in my journal, "welcome day 41."

Remember that you don't have to explain yourself! Perhaps just say you don't drink rather than not anymore. Opens you up for questions. Congrats on the 40 days!
