Today is day 32 and I felt better than ever. I had a huge busy day at work and a great workout when I got home. I have a meeting tonight and all is well.

I find that around noon every day I have a really huge surge of anxiety but other than that it has been okay, manageable. I have been eating better, drinking lots of fluids and not just coffee, and I have been exercising and sleeping better. I have even lost 3 pounds over the last week and that makes me happy...I gained about 10 in the first few weeks of sobriety.

I am sleeping through the night which is good but it is not the most restful sleep...but it's sleep and I will take it for now.

32 day and going strong...I have had much support from my new friends here and I appreciate that very much.

I am so happy to be alive and to be sober. I can't wait each day for the next morning without a hangover.

Life is GRAND...for today I will just bask in that!!

congratulations mama on your 32 days. i think i saw you the other night in the aa meeting online...if it wasn't you, there is an aa meeting that is wonderful on tuesdays at 7pm and fridays at 9pm in the meeting room under chat. i have found that as an addition to my daily meetings, the SR meetings and friends i have made in the chat room helps a lot with any anxiety i may be having through the day or night and is a great, healthy way to spend free time. hope to see you soon in the meeting.
