Day one again, again.
Well, I'm back. Day One again. Finished a bottle of wine (not the classy, tiny kind) without eating last night, felt terrible all day today. pfffffffffft I'm frustrated.
Welcome back Maggi
What's done is done.
What you need to think about now is what you need to add to what you did last time - whether it's adjusting yr expectations, or making a more definite plan, joining a face to face recovery group, or seeing a counsellor or a doctor...whatever.
You can do this

So sorry you're not feeling well, Maggi. I'm glad you're here talking about it, though. I had to remind myself over and over again those first weeks exactly why I really wanted to quit. I think hanging out here a lot really helped drill that into my brain.
Hope tomorrow is much, much better and that you're able to get back on track.

Hi Maggie
The good thing is you've come back. O.k you slipped up. Give yourself a good talking to, learn from it, put it behind you and start again. Todays another day. Keep posting and let us know how you'r doing.

Yeah, learn from it and then do something about it. Take action, even if it's a small thing just do it. It's a start. We all have fallen down - the difference is hey are you gonna pull yourself back up again? You won't regret getting sober, but you WILL regret drinking. I have faith in you.
I've had so many day ones I couldn't even begin to count them.
I'm finaly making it though. 9 months. It can be done.
Don't dwell on it, just begin again and make it stick whatever it takes.
Best to you!

relapse happens. it doesn't have to, but frequently does, and is a part of my story. the key thing for me after relapse was to do something different. if what i was doing led to relapse i have to do something different in order to not relapse. simple, right?
what were you doing for your recovery before the relapse?
