You're so amazing!
You're so amazing!
I can see it now, all these snobby little 20 somethings getting their noses outta joint over you "foxy grown women" getting all the boys/professors attention! Ha!
Thanks and God bless us all,
Coyote
Background:
I know that we often accept unaccpetable behavior in our relationships with active alcoholics. Including belittling remarks, insults and neglect.
I just recently heard this song for the first time and thought: Oh how lovely! I need to remind myself that I am amazing just the way I am. It is part of my recovery to rebuild my self-esteem.
Then I thought of you: my SR family. You are amazing, just the way you are!
(btw, my 14 year old said to me the "OMG - you like that song?") hahaha

I just like that Coyote used the term "foxy."
And I LOVE rebuilding my self esteem. As a Leo, it sort of comes naturally, but the interesting part is, the more I say positive, loving things to myself, the clearer I can see, by contrast, how I've been belittling myself. It brings it out into the open. Then we wash it away.
Thanks Pelican!
