Hello, All. I am new to posting on sober recovery. I had a major overreaction to what a relative said and ended up being suicidal. Two friends pulled me out of it, and I didn't use. I am really hurting: sad, mad, afraid. My reaction was to get mad at the person instead of what they said and I severed contact with them for good. Today is her birthday, which I'm going to bless and release to God. I am so codependent on this person, it's dangerous. She is very abusive and toxic. So I feel better AND worse! YUK! I am happy to be on this site with all of you and get a lot out of what you post.

Caffiend, so glad you didn't use, and had the strength to cut someone toxic out of your life. Its so hard letting go, but can be very freeing once its done. I hope you can find happiness. Welcome.
