Things are already changing

Hello everyone, Today is day 9 of my new alcohol free life. I have also started walking 4 miles a day and changed my eating habits. In this short time I have lost 10 pounds and my blood pressure has went from 150/100 to 130/80. Now that my mind is free from alcohol it is so clear to see how many bad choices I was making. I am confident I am going to stay the course. I have 40 more pounds to loose and hope to have it off by Christmas. I will keep reading and posting. thanks for reading.

reading your post is inspiring....congrats on your improved health and mental outlook.

normal BP goes a long way towards giving your more energy along with the weight loss.

since I stopped drinking I have cut my BP meds in 1/2, stopped needing HRT for menopause symptoms and no longer need Nexxium.....that is 4 meds i no longer need to take on a daily basis.
