Time for NC?

For those that have read my earlier post you will know I have been in a toxic relationship with my RAHGF.

I have had her accuse me of stealing rent she drank, this created animosity with her family amongst other things, totally unjustified.

However thats old news, as I posted recently she has done rehab and is back out and doing a day course to continue with her recovery.

Before rehab I was the best thing since sliced bread to her, couldn't get enough all lovey dovey.

Now she's only interested in her friends and family, the same people who virtually abandoned her when she was drinking.

She came out of rehab 4 weeks ago and is slowly getting more and more distant with me, I put it down at first to her recovery needs.

I'm wrong about that I'm sure now I belive she never loved me I was her crutch.

She still txts and rings but not regualarly, I'm thinking NC and sort my head out as every time she gets in touch I end up with hopes again that never materialise.

The best way to determine if NC is for you, is to try it.

You have a few options:
Delete texts and phone messages without listening
OR
Read and listen to messages without responding.

I hope you have your sense of humor intact, because I got a giggle when I read this in your post: RAHGF (recovering alcoholic husband girl friend)
I know you meant your RAGF (recovering alcoholic girl friend) but it made me giggle. Hope you smile some today too!

Yes, I often felt like a little mouse being batted around and played with by a big cat. It gets old fast. You get weary fast. Hope you go NC soon Geordie.
