My Niece was killed last week
My best friend and ex-BIL lost his daughter to a tragic car accident last week and we just got back from the out of town funeral. My heart is breaking for my friend/brother and this is a tough loss for me as well. She was 27 and leaves a 7 year old daughter behind who needs her mommy. She was cut from the same cloth as Mel and all that knew them both would agree. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, she frequently pushed the envelope and burned bright and fast. She was loved by many and will be missed terribly. We've lost so much in the past couple of years it's hard to move on from one loss before another grabs you by the throat. Enough already!

I'm sorry just doesn't seem adequate when I read about things like this, Jazzman. I will be keeping all of the family, including you, in my prayers. A part of her will always live on in that precious daughter of hers.

You've had a lot of loss Jazz, it's hard. A little girl losing her mom hits home with me, that's life changing for her. Very sad for everyone.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. No words can heal the wounds that a family members death leaves on the heart. Be sure to take time for self care during this rough time. My thoughts and prayers are with you
