Sorry

Well, I went to the 5pm AA meeting, which was packed and a good meeting, but didn't see anyone I knew, so I ordered a pizza for pickup, picked it up on the way home and am eating it right now.

Sorry I didn't get enough for all of you, but at least I'm thinking of you while I'm eating it, lol.

Oops, almost got some stringy cheese on my keyboard, lol.

Tomorrow is double digits, ten days, all righty then!!

Well Firestorm, I am having pizza as I type this message... very tasty. Pepperoni, Ham, mushrooms with fresh tomato on top... with a huge glass of Perrier water with lemon.

A great Friday supper and drink.

Enjoy!

Well, I had leftover pizza from last night for breakfast...and tonight I went out for SEVEN CHEESE RAVIOLI...baked...with extra cheese. Oh, and I had 2 glasses of diet pepsi with it...hahahaha...might just as well have had regular pepsi cause the diet sh't isn't going to do me any good the way that I am downing the chow these days. Oh well...mummy gots a full tummy...that's all that matters for tonight...hehe...

Oooh, pizza sounds good! Sometimes you can be your own best company.

I wanted to reply to your other thread about losing all your friends when you quit drinking, but, I got called away. For what it's worth, I had the same experience. By the time I quit, the only friends I had left were the skid row alkies. Of course, they didn't want me after I'd sobered up. Such is life.

Good for you for taking steps to make your evening what you wanted it to be.

I consider Pizza to be comfort food too....something about the hot runny cheese and of course in the northeast we are thin crust folk.

I live in VA now but am from NY ... and we always bring pizza back everytime we go and visit. I just ate the last two slices from our trip in early August. Yummm! Now no more NY pizza till we go again in early Nov. It's better that way - keeps it a treat!

I could eat pizza every day and never have to say I'm sorry...yum yum. I had my last 2 pieces of leftovers from Thurs night...so technically I had pizza 3 days in a row...and then I wonder why my pants are shrinking.

Hey Embrace - I live in MD so next time you bring back a pizza from NY could you please bring me 2 large with everything (including anchovies)??

So tonight I ate a Healthy Choice dinner and am already hungry again! Why the heck does every movie on TV have people drinking red wine??

Ah, the simple pleasures in life. Take a huge ball of dough, throw in some pepperoni, sausage, veges, tomatoe sauce and lots of cheese, cook for 20 minutes and indulge in culinary bliss, that's the life baby, lol. But I gotta say, HOLD THOSE ANCHOVIES, LOL.

Tonight was another gutbuster, a huge cheeseburger, chips with salsa and guacamole, and for dessert later, an ice cold watermelon, ( hafta wait till I have some room). Yep, life is just tough some times, lol.

Made it through day ten without a drink and that's a blessing I'm truly grateful for.

Thanks for all your support. You folks make not drinking a whole lot easier.

Back to the game.

Sure thing Sweet City! I feel like there should be a recipe thread on here - or what food helps you cope best. Yea, Healthy Choice sucks. That's one thing I did get myself off of years ago - frozen dinners. I love cooking!!
