Happy Birthday Sober Recovery
Approximately 10 yrs ago there was a dream, put into action, to help those that were either seeking help for themselves for their own addictions or help dealing with a loved one with an addiction. This place, we now call home, started out with a small group of people volunteering their time and care to share their recovery through support, strength giving others hope and peace for their futures. Letting them know, through sharing there own stories and experiences, that there is recovery and life past addiction.
This place has grown, and thanks to the Mulligan Group, will continue to grow giving people hope and helping them to find serenity in their lives through the support and love that you find here.
Happy Birthday SR you have been my home through these years of your growth and given me some really great friends that have aided in my growth.

I can never express my gratitude to SR for helping me get and stay sober. I am privileged to be a member of this family and to get such strong and loving support from the wonderful people making up this family.

Thank you for posting this Pony. I'm not sure I'd be sober if not for SR & the amazing friends I've made since joining 3+ yrs. ago. Observations and comments I've read here have become words to live by - I could never put into words how much this has meant to me. I'm no longer alone, & that's everything.

I appreciate this nice forum--especially the "one-stop shopping" that enables me to address not only alcoholism in my own life, but also the effects of alcoholism of others in my life.
