Want to get/stay sober

This is the first time to this sight so if i'm not doing something correct if someone could help me. I guess i wanted to get some help but and need support but imbarresed a little. If anyone out there that would like to hear a little bit about me i am here to talk thanks the new guy pm

no need to be embarrassed. i highly doubt there's anything that you've thought/done that we haven't all been trough. Welcome to SR. What's your plan?

I'm glad you found us and joined the family. Can you tell us a bit about yourself, about your drinking? Quitting drinking can be done, with effort, but many people need medical help in getting past the withdrawal. Have you tried to quit drinking before? I'm curious as to your situation so that we can better help you achieve sobriety.

I was very embarrassed when I first started looking for help- still am a little.

I told myself no one knows me here, which made posting a lot easier.
