SR really helped me in my life in a big way. I needed to hear leaving my relationship was not only ok but a good idea. The folks here at SR gave me that gift. I love alanon dearly but SR really made a difference for me. I needed to hear the harsher, bolder version - it really helped propel me forward and it helps me daily to continue on with no contact and building a healthier life for me. Acceptance and detachment helped so much but in the end I needed to get away from the toxicity period in order to get better and start to fully heal. I will always be grateful to the people who post here.

Amen to the gratitude from all here to all here. Just realised it is my 2nd anniversary of joining SR and re-read old posts......brrrrrrrr, hello goosebumps.

The founders of this place may never know how many people owe their sanity, recovery or even actual lives, to the fact that SR has existed.

SR has helped me become a much better, healthier person in the 3 years I've been here (eek 3 years, seems like 5 minutes sometimes)
The people here have also helped me through very sad hard times, more than they'll ever know.
I am so grateful I found this forum and the caring sharing people who come here.

I credit SR with saving my life both literally and figuratively.
It continues to uplift and teach me every day (am I a slow learner?)

I also love some of the most heartfelt belly laughs we have shared.

I just don't put myself in a position where I need to or else I run like the dickens.

Everyone here has their own unique personality shining through and I like to brag that I have friends from all around the world!
