As much as mnay of you may hate or like Glenn Beck, his Mom committed sucicide when he was 13, he was wildly successfull and was just spriraling down the black hole of drugs and alcohol. He got his life together and is a true success story now, but one day, he and his buddy were joking around on his radio show and were asking, "What would you do illegal for $20 million dollars, if you _Knew_ you could get away with it? Do you neighbors wife, rob a bank, kill someone, etc...." Then Glenn said something that shocked me, he said the _one_ thing he would NOT do for $20 million dollars, is take another drink, because he KNEW, if he did, he would lose his family, his career, his recovered self esteem, i.e. _Everything_. He'd do _anything_ else for $20 million, but he would NOT take than next drink of alcohol. I wrote him an email about that and he wrote back saying if he could do it, anyone with sufficient motivation could do it. Just thought I would pass this along as it really struck me strongly...

Anyone who would do "anything" (including "Do you neighbors wife, rob a bank, kill someone, etc....") for $20 million EXCEPT take a drink doesn't have what I want.

Sigh... I wasn't using him as a personal example of proper behavior, just that he truly understood the consequences of going back to a life of drinking and all that would entail; perhaps I should have been more clear :-(
