Its been nearly 3 years since I visited this forum. The last time was shortly before the birth of my 4th child. I struggled horribley with alcohol in each of my pregnancies but I am happy to say that I managed to give up drinking nearly a year ago. I drank for 25 years from the age of 15, I have 4 children and started horseriding again 15 months ago, rediscovering a hobby I loved before alcohol was a big step towards me quitting.
I'm back on here in the hope that my story can help others to quit too.

Welcome... and congrats on getting sober... that is a huge accomplishment. A hobby is always a great way to spend time, it is relaxing, enjoyable, and takes your mind off stressful situations.

Ah, riding is one thing I REALLY would like to get back into. My money is rather tight for right now, but in a couple of years I hope to have a little more "flex" in the budget for stuff like that. So glad you're getting the chance to do that now.
