AA meeting
My first meeting was Thursday. Very positive....., I was a little nervous SOOOO glad I went. Tonight will be my second. Got me a copy of the Big Book and read all weekend. 21 days sober today. Long way to go.

That is great! One thing with the BB -- when I first got my copy, I think I read the whole thing in the span of a weekend. Sure it made sense to me, and I was glad to do it. Turns out, I needed to slow down a bit to absorb it all.
Something I really enjoyed was reading the personal stories in the back.

Good for you Ernie.
As a friend of mine says, 21 days is a long time to go without throwing up through your nose.
Regarding the Big Book, I'd take it one step further: have someone read it with you.
The special sauce in AA is one alcoholic working with another.
