The Irony of it all
I'm six days sober thanks to Antabuse and a lot of hard work. My favourite football team is about to play and that always means a trip to the pub to watch the game. Today I decided to be good and stay home to protect my sobriety.
Made a lovely lunch and made the mistake of using a little chilli sauce. Set off the antabuse reaction.
Thankfully it was quite mild, just dizzyness and increased heart rate. So in staying home from the bar I've made myself sick :rotfxko
Lesson learned!

Sorry about your antabuse reaction...hope that doesn't happen again. Congrats on your 6 days. Hopefully it won't be long before you can join your friends at the pub to watch the footy while enjoying a non-alcoholic drink. Take care, Stephanie
