+++Really depressed...+++
My boyfriend cheated on me and I still can't get over it even though he has rebuilt the trust through everything and has treated me so kindly. I have urges to just go out and do something crazy, want to get drunk or high, even though I know that I shouldn't and don't think I really will. How do you get through emotional times without turning to something else? I don't know how to do it. I know I can't be with him because of this but really can't picture my life without him and am so low right now.

But why add to that hurt by hurting yourself and trashing yourself?
I tried to forget someone once - I didn't forget a thing about what happened...but I did lose 18 months of my life.
Alcohol solves nothing - just perpetuates the present...and who wants that?
Move through your pain and grief...don't bog yourself there.

I'm sorry your hurting right now. I can't give advice on this because my husband hasn't cheated on me. My ex husband didn't cheat either, just got drunk and beat me. I had to leave him. Don't drink 
Is a guy who cheated on you really worth hurting yourself with alcohol/drugs? I don't think so..
