Hi All,

Had a bit of a relapse, but I am back 5 days sober. Went to the ER for withdrawal symptoms. Dr. in ER prescribed me Tranxene for the anxiety and withdrawal. I have one more day left of it. He has lowered the dosage gradually. Anyway, I would like to know what your side effects with this drug have been. All and all, it has been good for me. BUT, this evening I experienced flashing black laser like lights flashing across my eyes and out of the corner of my eyes. It was kind of trippy!!!

Anyone else have this feeling??

I have no experience with that drug.

Personally I think your doctor is the best person to ask if you have any questions about your medication, or its possible side effects.

Yep...gonna give him a shout tomorrow. Like I said, It has been a great drug for me and the flashes only last about 5 minutes. Just looking for some other experiences or what others where put on for their withdrawl symptoms.

Yeah, I had something like that out of the corners of my eyes just the other day and I'm not even on any medication! I'm serious.

l have used tranxene and l think it is rubbish.
Did things and talked to people and could not remember it the next day. Was completly out of my head.
