TOPIC: 8-11-90 XX Years Blessed
Hi, Im Sharon and Im an Alcohol.
By the grace of my HP an people
like you here in SR I haven't found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.
For that and you I am truely
grateful and blessed.
My spouse left my new chip
next to the coffee pot yesterday
morning for me to find when
I woke up. It had 2 large X's
on it which represent 20 yrs.
of continous sobriety along
with a nice note saying
"good job".
It was a nice jesture to begin
a new sober day.
I remained humble and grateful
all day while waiting for my
spouse to get home from work
so I could go get my new tat.
My tattoo was one with a wheel
to represent our love for motorcycle
riding. Wings attached to the
wheel represent angels watching
over us. In the center of the wheel
spokes is the symbol of our
awesome recovery program.
The word Wisdom is scripted
above the picture and words
Courage and Wisdom below it.
Numbers 8-11-90 tattoo'd to
finish my tat off.
Living a sober life is full of
joy and promising rewards.

recovery tool in recovery for
some time now and you all
are much appreciated.
You who r newest in recovery,
are so important to me in my
own recovery. I NEED YOU.
Your experiences strengths
and hopes continue to inspire
and humble me more than
you know.
At the end of a meeting
i glance around the huge
circle at each person
standing there.
Each person there from
young, old, no matter
what color, race, religion,
is important to me.
Its a continuous circle
that is connected by one
common problem and
one solution.
What ever it is, we r there
to help each other just by
sharing our own ESH with
each other.
Same here in SR....cyber
recovery is just as important
and I need each of you.
Thank you all for your wishes
as i continue on my journey
one day at a time.

Congrats Sharon. You're a true inspiration to all of us "battlers." I can imagine that by going sober 20 years ago you took a path that gave you a brand new life and helped a lot of others along the way.

clean or sober. It's a
gift within itself.
Wrap a bow around it
