interesting night

So I went out with some co workers last night to a couple of bars, and the co worker that I had a romantic interest in was there. He has a long past of pain pill addiction, and recently threw two years of sobriety down the drain.

I thought about leaving, but decided not to let this ruin my good night out, and I did have a really great time. But I noticed that, after quite a number of drinks, he actually looked sad and depressed....so much so that another coworker came over to me and mentioned it to me.

Most people who are drunk, in my experience, are happy and lighthearted, and in good spirits. He was not. It was really strange, and a little sad.

I guess I am just missing the sober guy this morning. People at work are starting to notice the changes in him. Very very sad.

On the positive side, I hav a phone interview on Monday for another job!

It's always been my experience that people's moods when drunk are a reflection of their sober reality.

Congrats on the interview! Keep doing the next right thing for YOU

Alcohol is first a stimulant and then a depressive.

That is part of the reason many alcoholics have depression problems upon sobering up.

Please remember the 3 C's.

You didn't Cause it.

You can't Control it.

You can't Cure it.

Love and hugs,
