Life is TOO SHORT....

.....one of my good friends from HS, a female, 36yrs old and quite healthy, had a heart attach on Tues - severe enough that she was lifelined to a city hospital. WOW...really...when I heard this, the reality of life really set in!! Life is too short to dwell on someone else's misery and chaos. I am nore certain about that than ever. In fact over the last few weeks I have been able to let go of the hate and anger toward my AH, and just today on the phone told him that he could live his life however he wanted, that was up to him, but that I was not going to spend the rest of my life living the way I have for the past 2 1/2 years. I told him I wasn't mad, or angry, or blaming him, and he was free to live his life however he wants. This was quite an empowering realization....like making his behavior simply that HIS, and that I have the ability to say that is NOT what I want in my life. I feel really good about this today!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, this VERY issue has been squeezing me lately too. A 30-year old co-worker had a heart attack and a 40-year old co-worker had a stroke. So scary.

How TRUE ! Life is too darn short to waste. I have been thinking these same things since my mom's cancer diagnosis in the last couple of weeks. We must live now because the future is very uncertain.

Let the A's live thier lives and we can live ours. Such wisdom and freedom in that.
