30 Days Sober
Well, in 5 minutes, it'll be 12 AM, and my 30th day of sobriety. I have not gone 30 days without drinking since high school, most likely Gr 9. Pretty sad. To anyone new or thinking of getting sober, do it. Don't waste anymore of your life. I am in mid 30's now and really, for the first time I can remember, am starting to feel happy. Pretty deep considering I have been blessed with a great wife and children, good job, nice house, etc. Like that saying goes, you may not believe in God, but God believes in you. Thanks to you folks on here, Alcoholics Anonymous, and my Higher Power, life is really looking good.

Way to go Traid. That is how I handle every day.....just one sober positive day at a time. Sober time adds up so quickly and sobriety brings clarity to everything in life.

yes congrats on 30 days..its such a great feeling to refind the natural drunk/drug free you again... and start to feel physically good again.

The first 30 days seems like forever and the first big hurdle after the 1st day.
