Make the most of each day
Make the most of each day
I was thinking thismorning about how awful I was feeling 2 weeks ago when I was hospitalized for bipolar with major depression. It was impossible to see the good, the beauty, the light at the end of the tunnel.
Now I am feeling better and I am makeing the most of each and everyday. Sitting outside listening to the birds and enjoying nature. Taking walks, enjoying my family and taking walks with the dogs, doing pilates... I am in such a better place.
I sympathize with anyone who may be depressed right now because I know how debilitatating it really is.
My message here is to make the most of today, do something special just for you and thank God for another day.

I am learning from my dogs how to live in the moment. How not to regret the past or fear the future. They are so good at just enjoying every minute of each day and they are teaching me to do the same. And being sober helps so much as my attitude is so much better than when I was drinking and always in despair.
For me, the biggest way to enjoy each day is to treat my dogs like royalty and spoil them rotten. I enjoy my life just by watching them enjoy theirs.
