I am free!

After really, really ending things w/ the recovering A/SA in my life... I feel SO free. I don't have to walk on eggshells. Don't have to be paranoid he'll see me with a glass of wine in my hand, know I will be loved properly, by someone who can GIVE... And I just feel good again. Amazing how I let him drag me down for that long. So done.

Oh, I'd be in a similar boat as him if not for God. I have a great deal of compassion for anyone struggling with addiction,whatever the substance. But it feels good to admit I'm not on control and just let it be. Thank you for the kind words and Godspeed to all in recovery.
