Well, I have just found the site so thought I would say hello.
I'm sober again and again determined to stay that way, I have a history over the last 3 years after after admitting I had a problem of going up to 3 months sober then having a few days heavy drinking then a few days ill after stopping then recovering then being determined and repeat....................
I's now a month since my last 'bender' which has to be my last for the sake of my career and my health.
I had a serious problem for a couple of years which got worse when I admitted it strangely, but here I am now - life is good at the moment but dear me the World Cup is a test
Enough rambling.

Welcome **** - I know about those vicious cycles of drinking and trying to get sober. I found that I couldn't do it alone and came to SR. It made all the difference for me. I hope you'll stick around, read and post alot, and also consider other options for support like AA. Take it a day at a time and you can do it too!
