31 Days!
I have never thought that I first would ever end up in AA, but 2nd, stay clean and sober for 30 days! I am not on any kind of "pink cloud" yet, and I am not very comfortable either. I am on the other hand sober, which means I have made it one more day.
This one day at a time thing was pretty hard for me at first, and babysteps had to be taken in my first few weeks, and then it was meeting to meeting to keep me sober. But, i woke up this morning and got on my knees and asked for god to please take this compulsion to drink from me TODAY and here I am. Not great, but ok. And you know what, ok is good for me right now.
