My father was a violent alcoholic when I was younger. He still drinks today but there is no way I am ever spending a Father's Day with him. I call every year and that is enough. My sbxah is no longer in my life so nothing to really do.

So I celebrated me! I went to Walmart with my ipod on and had a blast and got all cute things for me. Then I went to Barnes and Noble and got about 15 self help books and sat in a corner and read for hours. It was such a lovely relaxing afternoon. Yes I was alone but guess what? I wasnt lonely!

I took the time to notice my surroundings and lived in the present. I may go for a walk or attend a meeting.

It was a lovely day for me. Me myself and I..,.

Today was a sad day for me, I lost my Dad on Feb, 28 th, yet I know he is looking down on me, knowing he is in my heart, I send him my love. He was a fine man, I miss him.
