Congrats on 3 weeks, you are off to a great start.
This is not an addiction, and not OCD, at least IMHO. If it is an addiction you are a rank amateur, I have been known to read 6 books a week.
Sobriety offers us a chance to get back into healthy activities that we used to do, before we were so busy getting drunk and high. Don't forget about the body too - get some exercize.

i'm enjoying the time i have to read.
when drinking at home i could never read more than a few pages without falling asleep so it's a nice change to be able to tear through a book in a few evenings...

Hi Notnormal. I did that, too - anything that would redirect my thoughts away from drinking or feeling sorry for myself. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying this new phase of your life.
