Question Recovery Books

I know I think I saw a sticky or a post somewhere here with a great list of recovery, addiction, inspirational books somehwere here.

Does anyone recall where it is?

Thank you!

Don't have a link but here are some great ones i've read...

AA Big Book
AA Living Sober
AA 12 & 12
NA Basic Text
NA It Works: How & Why
Under the Influence: James Milam
Overcoming Addictions:The Spiritual Solution- Deepak Chopra
One Breath at a Time- Buddhism and the 12 steps- Kevin Griffin
The 12 Step Buddhist- Darren Littlejohn
The Zen of Recovery- Mel Ash
Taking the Leap: Freeing ourselves from old habit and fears- Pema Chodron(not recovery per se, from a buddhist perspective but very relevent to recovery)
Passages through recovery:An action plan for preventing relapse- terrence gorski

I've read all these and they've been very helpful.

I'll add Drinking: A Love Story by Caroline Knapp. It's a beautiful memoir that recounts the author's slow descent into alcoholism and all the ways alcohol affected her life and her family. It's a powerful, informative read, and I really can't adequately describe how amazing this book is. You wouldn't regret reading it.

I love, love, love 'Drinking: A Love Story'.

I am amazed that Carolyn was able to have such a raw and honest perspective on her life.

I love Dr Bob and the Good Oldtimers. It gives you a great sense of AA history.

Thanks all! I did look for the Knapp book at the library closest to me last night and they didnt have it in stock, they were close to closing though so I didnt have much time. Thanks for the other suggestions, reading is about all I know is my go to thing that I can always do to make me happy and has stuck with me even though my drug/A use, I may not have remembered everything I read and may have had to read a book a few times to remember it but its my love. I wish turning pages burned more calories thoiugh I guess it would if I read while riding a stationary bike like I used to....hmmm theres an idea

Every morning i read the following they have a daily passage about the different parts of recovery and they really are great stuff:

Daily Reflections
Touchstones daily meditations for men (they have a womans one too)
Just for Today (NA...my favourite but dont tell anyone at AA;-))
One day at a time (That's Gamblers Anonymous though)

The obvious ones are Big Book and 12 and 12...but i did start reading some of the above on day one...don't ask me where i got them from...oh yeah rehab that was it and my friend in NA gave me that one about a month later...and GA i got 2 months after getting sober...
