6 Months today!
What a difference ½ a year makes!

- no more shaky hands.
- no more hangovers
- no more hiding empties
- no more planning drinking the around the next business-trip/vacation/etc.
- normal liver tests at last physical
- lost about 25 lbs (and I needed to).
- saved about $2000! I have been putting aside the money that I would have been drinking away ($10 to $12 USD a day).

* And most important, I’m enjoying life!

The good thing is, I know how easy it would be to give all that up. It just takes one drink

Not getting complacent is crucial. You realise how 1 drink would strip you of everything that you have worked for and gained/achieved in the past 6 months.

bbr - that is great news. I remember feeling so much better at 6 months. I spent the first few just starting to feel well again physically, but finally started to come out into the sun at 6 mos. It gets better & better as you continue to heal. Be proud.

Like you bbr no more shaky hands, hangovers,etc.... and the best thing is the money $$$ you save, that's a good idea.. I used to stash booze around the house and my wife would find it, now she finds my money stash .. Keep Strong bbr...And enjoy your new Life!!!
