It's the little things I guess.

Just rode my bike home from work and noticed this road sign in my neighborhood that I have'nt noticed before but I know I'ts been there since the road construction has been done for about a year. Since I'm only on day two I found it very appropriate for myself and I was smiling the rest of the way home and still am.

It said: Changed Conditions Ahead.

Just thought someone else would get a kick out of it too.

Also I am soooooo happy to have found this site and all the wonderful people contained within. Thank you all for all the support I have recieved in the short time I've been a member!!!!! Best of luck to everybody. Flip

Yeah I thought it was really timely. Then I got to thinking it would really be cool to have a sign like that hanging in my garage. But to obtain it I would have to steal it and I only do stupid crap like that when I'm drunk and then I thought if I was drunk I would have no reason for wanting it. Funny how that works. Flip

Maybe take a picture of the sign and frame it?

Then you can hang it in the house or somewhere "grown up" instead of the garage (I say this with a long drunken history of stolen signs and other things that seemed smart at 2am). And then you'll have that inspiration with you more than just when you're in the garage.

HAHA flip I do appreciate that you may want to take a pic and use it on SR as your avtar pic or use it as your phone background. Little things that that, exactly those types of reminders are my daily tools to not drink.
I think that would be the perfect pic for you right now to take and have somewhere you see a lot
good Luck!!

Haha! Thanks Omega & Porkchopped ;-)

I used this site to generate them Sign Generators - Preview Images (Thumbnails) List

Then saved the picture by right clicking on it.

Then uploaded the picture to ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting

Lastly, copy & past the address of the picture after clicking "view large picture" or something like that.

Look forward to seeing some of yours too

Apologies to Flip... I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Thank you for sharing your experience, I enjoyed reading your story. It's always great to have these types of experiences, particularly early in sobriety when things are really tough.
