positivity
I am not here very often but I do pop in to read and look for updates from old friends...
I know from my active days at SR how important it is to hear encouraging stories, stories that can keep the hope alive...
my RAS is living in his own place, working and supporting himself and actively involved in volunteer activities that keep him connected to recovery
recently he and I took a trip together to visit family
there was a time when I could never imagine writing those words ...
things can change...never lose hope and don't give up before the miracle!!

Lil, it's so good to see you and even better to see that you and your son are both on a good path.
I know it hasn't been an easy road for you, and am inspired by what you wrote here.
Big Hugs
