110 Years of Drinking

Both my parents have been drinking since their teens and are now in their early 70's. i think they started drinking daily in their 20's and never stopped. seriously, what would be the point of them sobering up now?

Physical damage. The damage at the cellular level is bad. The brain, of course other organs. But the big ankle biter is- they have to want to quit. Neither one of my parents ever quit. My Dad lived to 75 (quit smoking at 50), my Mom lived to 83 but had dementia, (in a nursing home from osteoperosis).....
