I'm new.
This is my hello, I'm new post. I'm an addict. I've been popping pills since I was 15. It got serious after having a number of surgeries because of kidney problems, where I was being handed every pain killer anytime I asked for a year. I've been addicted to opiates for 4 years. I have troubles with alcohol, self injury, and amphetamines as well. I've had periods of sobriety, but never made it more than a few months. Things have been really rough with my using lately and I've almost hit rock bottom. I guess I'm reaching out for some kind of help.
On a lighter note, I'm going to school for psychology. I'm almost 21, and have a passion for singing, theater, dance, and animals. I love meeting new people as well.

Welcome to SR!!
I'm a recovering crack addict, though I abused the heck out of opiates and have tried numerous other things. SR, and the people here have been a huge part of my recovery.
Hugs and prayers!
