The good stuff
In the spirit of posting semi-unrelated topics to this forum, here's my happy-happy-joy-joy post of the day.
Next week, on April 6th, at 8:00 a.m., I'm going to my lawyer's office to sign the divorce proceedings. There's a delay that needs to be respected, but XAH will be served soon after. Subsequent to that, there's a court appearance (I believe 10 days after) and then...we'll see what happens! Yippee! The end is near!!
Also, on an almost completely unrelated note, on April 17th, I'm getting my tattoo covered up with this *gorgeous* lotus blossom design. It'll be the first of two three-hour sessions. Aieee! Just like my divorce, I'm SO looking forward to it, and yet I'm dreading the pain (which is very similar to my marriage: rather painful...the only difference: I get a gorgeous life affirming tattoo at the end to cover up my silly mistake!).

Ok, so what about you, my SR family. What good things are coming to you in the near and not so near future??

I turned 40 one month ago. Yesterday my good friend and birthday-buddy and I hosted an adults-only party at the roller-skating rink. We had about 50 people and really had a great time. I have blisters and sore legs, but the exhilaration of doing something for the sheer JOY of it is a feeling I forgot a long time ago. It feels great to rediscover it.
