Why make amends ?
To Amend something is to try to better it.
A now good member once was a plumber who was called on a job to fix a kitchen drain problem - on the window sill "was" a diamond bracelet.
20 years later sober the plumber returned to the house to try to amend it, he knocked on the door and an old lady answered he asked if she lived there long and she replied for 45 years and that her husband has just passed away he told her that 20 years ago he fixed her drain and took a bracelet off the window sill - she fell back in a faint and replied oh my God all this time we accused and thought our son took it.
An admen can go way beyond money and property.
