17 days and counting
Well its been 17 days and a couple hours since the last time i got high, still the feeling of sobriety is new to me, i still cant sleep and my moodswings are terrible but yet another day will go by and hopefully it will all come to pass lol.
Keep up the good work. I'm still new to this recovery thing myself. I'm on day 22 myself recovering from alcohol. Everyday I feel a little bit better. The insomnia and mood swings you are feeling are bound to get better.

Hi promethis
I had to look at it this way - it took me years to get to the point where I was beaten and wanted to quit - it's probably going to take a little more than 17 days to shake off the effects of all those years...and I'm sure you get that too.
There is this thing called PAWs too - if you haven't heard about it, it might be worth checking out...
