Good Morning!
Good Morning from Montana!
I am new to this "site", but I am NOT new to the program. Just thought I would write a couple words to say "I'm grateful there is a place to go online where I can talk about meaningful stuff!"
I can't even IMAGINE what it was like in the old days when all there was was a big book and a desire to get sober! In Bill W's days, it was not popular to go to a Treatment Center and get clean n sober. In fact, addicts like me were not expected to live at all. There was no hope for them and many of them died in the streets. How sad! I am a so grateful to be born in this era when it's okay to be an addict and there are LOTS of ways to get the support.

Good thoughts tabfan, thanks for sharing them.
I believe AA has to evolve just a little to keep up with the times, so I'm grateful to have a site like SR as an addition to my 12-Step program of recovery. I like to think that if Bill W. & Dr. Bob had notebooks, netbooks, or desktops they'd support what we're doing here.

tabfan......AMEN to all you said up there!!!!! YES!!!!! I'm very grateful for this site and all that is out there for those looking to get sober, those in need of support and a place you can get to right from the comfort of your home, oh yeah, here!!!!!!
