STBXAH Calling drunk to speak to the kids
Good for you, for not letting him talk to the kids! I'm sorry you had to hear him, drunk at the other end of the phone, but am glad your kids have you to protect THEM from hearing that.
Hugs and prayers!

He can get glad in the same pants he got mad in.
Suki, that is marvelous way to put it!!
SBH, Suki says it all. It was his choice to act the fool and want to bring the kids into it. You called a party foul and put a stop to it. BRAVO!!
Sorry you have to be the drunk dial police. Your kids are so the better for it, though, please know that in your heart.
Hugs to you!

He's still calling
Thanks for the encouragement
Well he's called 12 times now , and my stepfather spoke to him a couple of times, just briefly telling him not to call when he's drunk and that I'll call him back when I want to.
Noday - that's a great idea and I've got it logged!

My exA called 27 times one day. All to my office. That was the largest call volume from him in one day. 12 was average for a drinking day.
Dear, thank you for reminding me about those days. I am sorry you are going through this.

update
Well in the end he called 24 times, and when no one would answer after around the 10th call, he started calling & harassing my sister at work. The only thing keeping us from calling the police is the fact that he is leaving the country soon and I don't want to delay it!!!
My ex called 48 times in one night once. I saved all of the messages and used them to bolster a request for a restraining order. Not exactly what he had in mind
You shouldn't have to go through this even if he's leaving the country soon, Sad. I understand how you feel, but just know that if this is hurting you or your kids, there's no reason not to take steps to end it through legal channels.
P.S. I love your new signature line

Sad,
I hope today he is taking a break from your phone number. I agree with Givelove. I would definitely keep records of his calls and just get your ducks in a row to take to the police should you need to. You don't have to do anything now, but this past day is an example of his stalking erratic behavior. This the the type of behavior that restraining orders protect you from.
