I'm OK
I'm sorry I haven't been online in weeks. I had a large man break into my house (yes my door was locked) and pin me in the bathroom (no I wasn't clothed). He never layed a hand on me but he took lots of my things, including my laptop. It has been really difficult and traumatic but I know that I'll make it somehow. I've seen a counselor and have another appt. for march 2nd (that's the earliest they could get me in). I'm just trying to focus on myself and get over my fear. I attended all my classes for the first time this week so I know I'm moving forward. Just please everyone, protect yourselves. Life is too short to waste it on wondering where someone's at or whether they really love you. Love yourself and always enjoy every moment. You never know when it could be your last. (Sorry for the lack of detail in this post, I'm on my parent's computer and don't have much time or privacy).

Oh how horrible. I'm glad you are recovering...material items can be replaced..you and your emotional well being can not. So glad you are seeking some help to get through this trying time as well. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope your counseling will help you work through this and get the anger/pain/fear out and dealt with. Situations like this are traumatizing and just because you ended up safe, doesn't mean you weren't affected.
I'm glad you escaped harm, and also that you have your parents to help you stay safe.
Did they get the intruder?
Hugs

Oh My Gosh! I'm sorry and how traumatic! I always keep my doors locked too. That is scary! I'm glad that you are ok and I'm glad it was things that he took instead of you that he took. Hugs to you and I'm sorry you had to go through this.
