Decreasing tolerance?

I went to visit a girlfriend of mine the other night. She's always been a heavy wine drinker ...for like 25 years (she's 50 now). I only see her about 3x a year, but the other night she had 2 glasses of wine and could hardly walk!! What the heck does that mean? Her tolerance is decreasing???

She said she had not been drinking before I got there and I believe her. She is one who has very obvious symptoms...starts slurring almost immediately, droopy eyes, etc., so I don't believe she had anything to drink prior. The only meds I know that she takes is for blood pressure.

Anvil is right on.. after 25 years of drinking my RAH could drink a fifth and still be upright some nights.. other nights two shots and he was face down on the kitchen floor.

Hmmm. Thanks.

Oddly enough, she also gets up every single morning at 4:30 and goes to spinning class before going to work! I've wondered if that's her way of dealing with the inevitable and frequent hangovers.

Funny how, in the last year, I've distanced myself from friends who drink too much. I just choose not to watch the train wreck that's bound to happen.

Mee too tjp, people who drink too often, people who badmouth other people, people who express romantic interest in strangers when they already got partners... people who keep complaining and do nothing... I say our tolerance for BS has indeed decreased !

This is what makes predicting results of my RABBF's drinking aa real mystery bet.
Was it going to be stubbie number 2 or 22, that hit and which Mr Hyde would it trigger this time.

Eggshell walking at it's ultimate worst.

God bless
