Twenty-one days weed free!

I posted I wouldn't be back because of technical issues (a trojan, blue screen of death twice, etc.), but like a moth to a flame, here I am. I noticed my post regarding the technical issues disappeared. I'm hoping the issues disappeared with it. We shall see. I really feel I benefit from the support here in so many ways and I hope to be able to visit as often as needed. And many thanks to Dee for your kindness!

So far, I've done really well with cravings and haven't given in to go get any. My emotions are still whacky pretty much on a daily basis, still have a hard time communicating them to my husband and vice-versa, and I am feeling pretty darn overwhelmed with school (just started college courses last week after not being inside a school for over 25 years). My first class wasn't as scary as I had anticipated (Intro to computer apps/processes), however, the next night after my college comp.1 class, I sat out in my car and cried for about 20 minutes before I could leave. I was thinking what the hell have I got myself into!?! I'm hoping it will get easier to handle as it progresses.

Hoping everyone has a groovy night. Stay strong. Be kind. Love all and create no sorrow.

Peace.

In the words of Bob Dylan: "For the times they are a-changin'". I know what the song is really about, but I listen to it often in my mind because of the changes I am making in my own life, it's kind of taken on whole different meaning for me on a personal level...becoming a whole new person, and there are no words for it, it is just AMAZING.

Anyway, enough of my babbling...congrats on your 21 days! Marijuana was never my poison (I've smoked plenty of it but I could take it or leave it), but any of us getting clean from anything can certainly share in your excitement. For me, I am 20 days alcohol free today!

College will get easier...you have a lot on your plate right now and are feeling a little overwhelmed. Give yourself some time to adjust...you can do this!
