Something good for me
Something good for me
Last year my daughter had a face peel package and she looks terrific. She suggested I could do the same to hit the age spots and sun damage from living in the tropics. Of course, as usual I hesitated, but this morning I thought "why not see the Dr she went to and suss it out.
I rang up and got in a few hours ago, agreed to have the same treatment and had the first peel today.
Wow, skin feels softer and clearer already, so after the next 2 stronger peels, I hope the results are fab.
Dr gave me compliment on my skin and I will only need the treatment he gives to women in their 40's, which startled this 65 year old a bit.
Never ever considered me forking out $350 for my face before so this is a new experience for me.
Now if I can get this chubby body to slim down a bit, I may get a new dress for Live's wedding via SR.
Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks? Twaddle!!!
God bless

Jacmack25...I LOVE YOU! This post couldn't have come at a better time. I was doing online research about the chemical peels and even looking at the injectable fillers. I am 52 years old and could use a little help as I make my way back into the 'real' world.
Thank you!! Thank you!

I just had fraxel lasering done to correct damage from tanning beds! Ugh...don't tan! Let's see, also just had my chin done, and as far as a peel to remove the butt..lol..Still Waters, they have something now it's called Zeltque...I just had it done on my stomach, it's like lipo...but no surgery. It basically freezes the fat and it "melts" off. It takes about 3 months to see results.
I specialized in anti aging skincare for 10 years, so I try to keep up on the latest If it's something that makes you feel good and happy ...GO FOR IT!!

Thank God I don't have a clay face mask on, or it would have smashed all over the place from me laughing at some of your comments.
Stillwaters quote: Do they have a peel to get my butt back up under the pockets of my jeans??
Oh, how I wish!!! That staple gun idea scared the wits out of me.
nodaybut2day quote: Um, is there a peel that can make the saggy stretch-marked skin on my tummy go away?
I don't have any saggy skin on my tum, it's filled to the max...with fat.
Oh well, I keep thinking back to when I was a size 8 and bemoaning the fact I am now a 10, but then remember that 5 years ago I was a 16. Guess I just need to be thankful for where I am NOW, and work at losing a few more tubs of fat slowly. If I ever got to 8 again, I'd look like a stressed out scarecrow so.....Lord, let me thank you for what I am.
Thanks for your wonderful supportive posts, as usual you brighten my days.
Saw this online and wondered what are they going to do next to us golden oldies....Duh!!!

Live-
It's such a new treatment that you can often find deals that medical spas are offering on it....that's the only way I tried it first!
It's generally just offered in a plastic surgeons office, or a medical spa. But I know it's not everywhere in the US yet.
Typically I think it's about $1000 PER area.....so for example.. typically the stomach would be charged for 2 sections..upper and lower. But like I said, sometimes they offer intro prices.
I know it's pricey. But man, my former relationship sunk my self esteem to the pits of he**! I really racked up some procedures. lol I know, i'm working on the inside most importantly now.
